Our core pillars
A well-established contract electronics manufacturer, Sellectronics’ mission is to be your trusted partner, delivering excellence and value, while running a sustainable growth business, showcasing innovation for customers.
Our core values include ensuring our business is built on long-term partnerships, innovation and investing in new technology. Undeniably reliable, with the highest quality products delivered on time by skilled employees who pay great attention to detail, we can help assemble your future.
History of Sellectronics
Established in Truro in 2008, we moved operations to our current site in Falmouth in 2011, offering skilled services including box build assembly, prototyping, full product build and PCB assembly services. In 2015 we doubled our floorspace, with the number of employees increasing more than sixfold by 2017 to match increased demand.
In 2021/22 alone, we experienced a massive 118% growth in our order book. This ongoing success is largely due to our continued investment in the latest technology. During the past 18 months, we’ve spent £1.5 million on ensuring our clients receive the best products and services, with another £1 million to be spent by the end of 2025. The latest X-ray component counter, the Scienscope AXC-800 III, is revolutionising inventory management by enabling faster and more accurate component counting.
Award-winning services
As a leading high technology company in Cornwall, we have also won numerous industry awards: we were named SME of the Year at the National Manufacturing Awards 2024, an honour which followed our initial win in the South West regional category.
Our team headed to London for the ceremony in January 2025, enjoying a memorable night when we claimed the top spot. The judges praised our investment plan, clear strategy, structure aimed at growth and commitment to a positive working environment.

Our dedicated PCB prototyping team supports rapid prototyping and new product Introduction to offer a complete service. We can help get your electronics project started, whatever the sector and the scope of the project. We can manufacture one-off PCB prototypes or pre-production batches so you can make sure your setup is fully functional before proceeding.
Sellectronics’ product box build assembly services will transform your concept into a saleable product, seamlessly evolving your idea from a prototype to the manufacturing stages.

We invest in the latest technology – and in professionally trained technical staff – to deliver service and reliability, even for technically demanding builds on tight timescales.
Sellectronics’ reliability testing means working closely with customers to develop test strategies that support external and in-house requirements for the performance of PCBAs and sub systems. These include in-circuit tests, boundary scan, functional test solutions, bespoke test fixtures, Labview Functional, X-ray and more. In addition, we have a dedicated customer focus team to ensure a smooth service from the initial concept to final delivery.
Space heritage
Sellectronics contributes to the planet’s space heritage, with the vast concept of space being a phenomenon that captures everyone’s imagination. A testament to our growth and development over recent years, our PCB applications in space include the DMU30 inertial measurement unit, used in satellites launched into low orbit by iQPS.
Requiring the highest standards of reliability and quality in a constantly evolving sector, our PCBs play a crucial role throughout the aerospace industry, including in space heritage.
