Why did Sellectronics become a member of the Cornwall Space Cluster?
Sellectronics joined the Cornwall Space Cluster several years ago, after seeing a wealth of opportunities in a new sector that historically we had not been involved in.
How does Sellectronics operate within the space sector?
We currently have multiple clients that have products in space and we’re in discussions with various others for products which will eventually end up in space.
We have manufactured and assembled PCBs for a gyro which exists in some low earth orbit satellites, as well as some electronic switching for another satellite company.
In what ways do we believe the Cornwall Space Cluster adds value to its members?
Joining the Cornwall Space Cluster has allowed us to network with other business within Cornwall related to the space sector. It’s also allowed us to be introduced to companies outside Cornwall that might be interested in investing or sourcing in companies within The Duchy.
How does the Cornwall Space Cluster support Cornwall and the South West’s space sector?
Within the cluster, some of the relationships we’ve been able to develop through networking have allowed us to develop others outside Cornwall.
