PCB Assembly

PCB Assembly

Precise and efficient PCB assembly services are becoming increasingly important to satisfy the booming electronics industry.

A growing number of today’s electronic devices have state-of-the-art technical requirements. To fulfil the demands of computers, laptops, mobile devices, consoles, televisions, gaming machines and more; PCBs are getting smaller.

Using both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology (THT), Sellectronics specialises in PCB component assembly.

After finalising the initial concept with our clients, we create the required PCBs, sourcing and mounting the integrated circuits and other components:

  • Our SMT board assembly lines can place more than 100,000 components per hour
  • Conventional THT services are ideal if your product requires higher heat endurance and stronger connections between layers

What is PCB Assembly?

Printed circuit board assembly, or PCBA for short, is the process of assembling or installing electric components onto a plain PCB.

Assembly goes through a number of processes, from the initial solder paste stencilling through to pick and place, reflow soldering and final testing and inspection.

Prototype PCB assembly is often carried out prior to full production to ensure no issues are present in the final run.
